Homemade Ginger Ale

Homemade Ginger Ale is a refreshing and healthy drink that is made with fresh ginger root, lemon, and honey, all blended with sparkling water for a flavor that you can't get out of a can.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons fresh ginger, peeled and grated
  • 2 ½ ounces lemon juice (1 lemon), freshly squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 16 ounces sparkling water, or carbonized water

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Squeeze out the juice of one lemon into a blender.
  2. Add the grated ginger, honey, and water to the blender, mixing them all together.
  3. After blending the ingredients together, pour the mixture through a fine strainer.
  4. Pour over ice and top with sparkling water. Mix and serve.
