Homemade Ice Cream with only 2 Ingredients (No Machine)
This Homemade Ice Cream recipe uses just heavy cream and sweetened condensed milk whipped together to create a smooth, creamy texture without the need for an ice cream machine. The process forms stiff peaks in the cream before folding in the condensed milk. Vanilla extract is added optionally for flavor. The base can be customized with various mix-ins before freezing.
Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy cream cold, 16 fl oz/450 ml
- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk fat-free or regular, 1 can/400 ml, cold
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Notes
- Keep sweetened condensed milk cold for at least 4 hours before mixing.
- Add mix-ins to portions of the base for homemade flavors before freezing.
- Store finished ice cream in an airtight container in the freezer to maintain texture.
