Homemade Jalapeño Jelly

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups seeded and diced jalapeño peppers about 10 large jalapenos
  • 1 cup diced green bell pepper about 1 medium pepper
  • 1 cup diced red bell pepper about 1 medium pepper
  • 5 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 (6-ounce) package liquid pectin

Instructions

  1. Add 2 ½ cups seeded and diced jalapeno peppers, 1 cup diced green bell pepper, and 1 cup diced red bell pepper to a food processor and pulse until finely chopped. Transfer to a large saucepan.
  2. Add 5 cups granulated sugar and 1 ¼ cup apple cider vinegar and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Add 1 (6-ounce) package liquid pectin and continue to simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool. Transfer to jars and refrigerate.

Notes

  • For a spicier jam, leave seeds in the jalapeños.
