Homemade Ketchup

Mm mm, nothing is better than homemade ketchup; making your own ketchup is so EASY to make at home and making it yourself allows you to control what goes in it.

Ingredients

  • 6 oz can tomato paste
  • 1/4 cup honey (or agave)
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat; whisk until smooth.
  2. When it comes to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring often.
  3. Remove from heat and cover until cool.
  4. Chill and store refrigerated in a covered container.
