Homemade Ketchup Recipe

Ingredients

  • 12 ounce can tomato paste
  • 2 to 4 tablespoons sugar to taste
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ⅛ teaspoon cloves
  • ⅛ teaspoon allspice
  • ⅛ teaspoon cayenne
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ cup white wine vinegar
  • ½ to ⅔ cup water

Instructions

  1. Place all of the ingredients, except water, in a medium bowl.
  2. Add water in increments until you have your desired consistency (thicker or thinner).
  3. You can enjoy immediately, or store in an airtight container for up to 1 month. The flavors develop the longer it sits.
