Homemade Mississippi Comeback Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 garlic finely minced clove
  • 2 tablespoons yellow onion finely minced
  • hot sauce to taste

Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a large bowl.
  2. Mix together using a spoon or whisk until completely combined.
  3. Optionally adjust any seasonings with salt and pepper.

Notes

  • Make-Ahead: You can make this up to 3 days ahead of time.
  • How to Store: Cover and keep in the refrigerator for up to 7-10 days.
  • If you do not have chili sauce or have no access to it, you may substitute for all ketchup.
  • You can substitute out the garlic and onion with garlic and onion powder or granules.
