Ingredients

  • 16 ounces cheddar cheese freshly shredded, sharp
  • 24 ounces evaporated milk , 2 cans
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce , (we use Tapatio)

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, combine cheese, evaporated milk and cornstarch and stir well to combine.
  2. Bring to a simmer, mixing well, and cook for 5 minutes, or until the cheese sauce has thickened.
  3. Add in hot sauce, stir to combine and serve immediately.
  4. If sauce becomes too thick, thin with additional evaporated milk.
