Ingredients

  • 2-4 cups roasted peanuts unsalted
  • ⅛-1/4 teaspoon sea salt optional

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Add the peanuts and optional sea salt if using to your Vitamix. Blend on high, using your tamper to push the peanuts down while blending, until a smooth consistency is reached. The peanut will quickly go from whole peanuts, to ground up pieces to creamy peanut butter.
  2. Store in a clean sealed jar or container.

Notes

  • To make peanut butter in the Vitamix, don't use less than 2 cups of peanuts. You'll need some volume for it to blend nicely.
  • If you want to make more than 4 cups at a time, I suggest multiple batches.
  • If using salted peanuts, skip the additional sea salt.
  • I've kept my peanut butter in a sealed jar at room temperature for up to 2 weeks. You may refrigerate for longer but it may harden slightly. Flavour will not be affected.
