Homemade Pizza Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon garlic minced
- 6 ounces tomato paste
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 1 Roma tomato lightly blended
- 2 teaspoons basil
- 2 teaspoons oregano
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a saucepan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until golden brown and fragrant.
- Add the rest of the ingredients except the salt and pepper. Stir to combine. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer. Simmer for 30 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Notes
- Add a bit of spice with red pepper flakes.
- Make ahead and store in the fridge in an airtight container.
- Use fresh herbs for even more flavor!
