Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons dried sage
- 2 Tablespoons dried thyme
- ½ Tablespoon marjoram
- ½ Tablespoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon dried basil
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients to a shallow bowl or a plate
- Mix to combine all the ingredients
- Transfer to a closed jar/container and store away from direct sunlight

Notes
- For additional flavor, add oregano, basil, and garlic powder. If you don’t have all the spices at home, feel free to make the seasoning without them. Poultry seasoning is similar to Italian seasoning, and you can use it instead of poultry seasoning and vice versa in most recipes.
- For a finer or powdered texture, use an electric spice or coffee grinder, a small food processor, or a mortar and pestle (optional).
- Be sure to use the homemade seasoning within six months after making it.
- Store the seasoning in a cupboard or pantry.
