Homemade Ranch Dressing Mix
Mix up a batch of this Homemade Ranch Dressing Mix to have on hand for quick and easy salad dressing or seasoning popcorn, sandwiches, and more!
Ingredients
- ½ cup buttermilk powder
- 2 tablespoons parsley dried
- 1 teaspoon dill dried
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons chives dried
- ¾ teaspoon salt fine sea salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients in a medium size bowl. Mix until well combined. Store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.
Notes
- Approximately three tablespoons of this mix equal one package of store-bought ranch dressing mix.
- To make ranch dressing, combine 3 tablespoons of this mix with 1 cup mayonnaise, ½ cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt, ⅓ to ⅔ cup milk (depending on how thick you’d like your ranch), and juice of half a lemon (optional). Stir well, and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes before serving.
- If you aren't a fan of mayo, you can mix 3 tablespoons of this mix with 2 cups of sour cream instead!
