Homemade Red Iced Tea
This homemade red iced tea with mint is a breeze to make and great if you are looking for an easy and quick way to cool down from the sizzling hot summer.
Ingredients
- 3 bags of red tea
- 1 lemon - squeezed
- ½ lemon - cut into slices
- sugar amount depends on personal preference, I used 3-4 Tablespoons honey, or honey
- 2 tems mint fresh
- 1 cup water boiling
- 3 cups water cold
- ice cubes
Instructions
- Add tea bags to the cup of boiled water and steep for 10 minutes.
- Take out tea bags and add sugar or honey and stir until all grains are dissolved.
- Transfer the hot tea in a jar or jug and add the lemon juice, lemon slices and mint leaves. Using a wooden spoon, press some of the mint leaves to help infuse tea with mint flavor.
- Add the cold water and ice cubes and stir.
