Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups mayonnaise
  • 1 cup chili sauce
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons horseradish prepared
  • ½ yellow onion peeled and small diced
  • 1 tablespoon parsley chopped, fresh
  • Worcestershire sauce to taste
  • Tabasco sauce to taste
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Notes

  • Make up to 3 days ahead for best flavor melding.
  • Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 7 days; dressing is not suitable for freezing.
  • Russian dressing has a zestier profile than Thousand Island, due to horseradish and absence of pickles and eggs.
  • Substitute chili sauce with ketchup if preferred.
