Ingredients
- 1 1/4 pounds Roma tomato
- 1 ro-tel 10 ounce can
- 2 green onions roughly chopped
- 1/3 cup red onion peeled and roughly chopped
- 1 jalapeno pepper seeded and roughly chopped
- 1/3 cup cilantro fresh
- 1 garlic peeled and roughly chopped, large clove
- 2 tablespoons lime fresh squeezed juice
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin ground
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor and pulse until all ingredients are finely chopped and the salsa reaches your desired consistency.
- Cover the salsa and refrigerate for 1 hour, then taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
- Store the salsa in the refrigerator up to 1 week.
