Ingredients

  • 1 (6 ounces) can pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium-high heat whisk together the pineapple juice, vinegar, brown sugar, ketchup, and soy sauce together.
  2. In a small bowl whisk together the cornstarch and water to make a slurry.
  3. Add the cornstarch to the saucepan and whisk it in.
  4. Bring to a simmer then reduce to medium-low until it thickens
