Homemade Taco Seasoning
Full of flavor and made from spices that are probably already in your spice cabinet, this homemade Taco Seasoning Mix is so much better than a store bought mix. Plus, you get to control what goes into it!
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 teaspoons cumin ground
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon oregano dried
- 1 teaspoon salt sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Combine all of the ingredients in a small jar and stir or shake to combine.
- Store in a cool, dry place.
Notes
- About 2 tablespoons of this mix is a substitute for a packet of taco seasoning. It makes just over 4 tablespoons, so I will just use half of the mix for 1 pound of ground beef.
- For recipes that call for one packet of taco seasoning, sub in 2 generous tablespoons.
