Homemade Taco Seasoning

Homemade taco seasoning beats the store-bought version every time. Make a triple batch and keep it on hand for tacos, roasted potatoes and grilled meat.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons cumin ground
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper ground
  • ¾ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¾ teaspoon oregano dried
  • ½ teaspoon ground coriander
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper optional (adjust for spice preference)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine all of the ingredients. Stir to combine thoroughly.
  2. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dark place for up to 6 months.
