Homemade Taco Seasoning Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons salt coarse
  • 1 ½ tablespoons garlic granules
  • 1 ½ tablespoons onion granules
  • 1 ½ tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 ½ tablespoons oregano
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Add all the spices to a small to medium-sized bowl.
  2. Mix everything together using a whisk or spoon.
  3. Store or use it.

Notes

  • Make-Ahead: Make this homemade taco seasoning for several days or weeks before using it.
  • How to Store: Put in an airtight container and store in a cool dark place for up to 1 year.
  • You can add other ingredients: thyme, cinnamon, red pepper flakes, cloves, cinnamon, cayenne, chipotle powder, or allspice.
