Homemade Teriyaki Sauce (Crazy Easy)

This homemade teriyaki sauce is about to turn one of your favorite pantry staples on its head. Crazy easy to make, it’s the perfect balance of sweet & salty!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup tamari
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 cup corn starch
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 3 tbsp mirin
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 tsp ginger fresh ground

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized pan over medium heat, whisk all the ingredients together until well-combined.
  2. Bring the sauce to a boil and then reduce the heat to a simmer for 5 minutes. Remove the sauce from heat and allow it to cool at room temperature.
  3. Refrigerate the sauce until you're ready to use it. Enjoy!
