Homemade Whipped Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream chilled
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Add the cream, sugar, and vanilla to a stand mixer and use the whisk attachment to whip until you reach medium-stiff peaks. The cream shouldn’t be so stiff that the peaks stand up, but rather just stiff enough to maintain its shape but not stand up firmly.
  2. Add the cream to a piping bag to pipe on desserts or use a spoon to add dollops.
