Homemade Zesty Lemon Garlic Aioli
This homemade Lemon Aioli, made with mayonnaise, fresh lemon juice, garlic, dill, parsley, and a hint of honey mustard, is perfect way to jazz up many meals. Whether you're dipping fries or drizzling it over grilled chicken, fish, veggies, or a spread for sandwiches, this sauce is one of my household favorites!

Ingredients
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 lemon juiced, about 2 tablspoons
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 2 cloves garlic minced finely
- ½ tablespoon fresh dill chopped
- ½ tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
- ½ teaspoon honey mustard
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a small bowl, add all the ingredients together and whisk to combine until smooth.
- Taste and adjust as needed.
- Use as a dipping sauce for french fries or drizzle over cooked fish, chicken, or vegetables

Notes
- For more lemon flavor, add a little more zest.
- To sweeten it, add a little more honey mustard. To balance the sweetness and flavors, add a little more salt as needed.
- To thin the sauce, add in ½ teaspoon of lemon juice or water.
- Use vegan or dairy-free mayo for vegan aioli.
- Add 2-3 more garlic cloves if you're a garlic lover.
- Fresh herbs are highly recommended but you can use dry herbs if you’re in a pinch. It will take less than fresh herbs so start with one teaspoon of each then taste and add more if needed.
- Store leftovers refrigerated in an airtight container like a mason jar with lid for up to 5 days.
