Honey Butter
This honey butter recipe comes together in just 5 minutes and uses only 2 ingredients - Perfect on warm toast or to elevate sweet and savory dishes!
Ingredients
- 250 g butter approx 1.1 US cup, softened
- 4 tablespoons acacia honey approx ¼ US cup, Fulmer brand
- salt optional, a pinch
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, add the softened butter.
- Use a hand mixer or a whisk to mix the butter until creamy.
- Gradually incorporate the honey into the butter, mixing until it's fully blended.
- Once everything is well combined, transfer the honey butter into an airtight container.
Notes
- You can store honey butter in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 48 hours.
- For a longer shelf life, simply cover it and keep it refrigerated for up to two weeks.
- Alternatively, you can freeze leftover butter into portions for up to 60 days.
- When using the frozen batch, allow it to thaw overnight in the refrigerator before serving.
