Ingredients
For the Marinade
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp garlic powder
For the Skewers
- 3 chicken breast boneless, skinless cut into cubes
- 1 red bell pepper cut into 1" pieces
- 2 red onion cut into wedges
Instructions
- Combine the ingredients of the marinade. Set aside a quarter of it to brush onto the skewers while grilling.
- Add the cut chicken to the marinade and set aside for up to an hour.
- When ready to grill, skewer in the order of chicken, onion, red pepper, chicken, onion, red pepper, and chicken.
- Grill on a hot grill for approximately 10 minutes or until the chicken has cooked through. Rotate the skewers every couple of minutes and brush with the reserved marinade.

Notes
- Be sure to soak the skewers for 10 to 20 minutes beforehand if you are using wooden skewers.
