Honey Lemon Garlic Salmon

This honey lemon garlic salmon is coated in a delicious lemon garlic butter sauce and baked to perfection. It's full of flavor and comes together in less than 20 minutes for a quick and easy weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon 2-4 filets
  • 2 Tablespoons butter ghee or oil, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic crushed
  • 2 Tablespoons honey
  • 2 lemon 1 juiced and 1 sliced, plural
  • ½ teaspoon salt plus more to taste, fine sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper plus more to taste, ground
  • 4 lemon for serving, wedges or slices
  • parsley for garnish, chopped, fresh

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Combine melted butter, garlic, honey and lemon juice.
  3. Line baking tray with foil enough to fold over and seal salmon.
  4. Place salmon on foil, skin side down and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Then pour butter mixture over salmon and top with lemon slices. Fold foil over salmon to cover.
  5. Bake for about 15 minutes until flaky and cooked. Time will depend on the thickness of your salmon.
  6. Spoon remaining juices over salmon when serving. Sprinkle with additional salt and pepper, if desired.
  7. Serve salmon with a lemon wedge and chopped parsley for garnish, if desired.
