Honey Mustard Dressing
Ditch the store bought salad dressing and opt for this homemade recipe instead. This honey mustard dressing is the perfect balance of sweet and tangy, and it takes minutes to make!
Ingredients
- ¼ cup honey
- ¼ cup Dijon mustard
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup olive oil or another mild-flavored oil, light
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Combine all of the ingredients in a small bowl and whisk until well blended and creamy. Taste and adjust with additional honey, salt, or pepper if necessary.
- Keep, tightly covered, in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
Notes
- Use a natural and raw honey rather than artificial for the best flavor.
- Try adding in some minced garlic or dried herbs and spices for a different flavor.
- Instead of whisking, you can add the ingredients to a mason jar and shake well, so that there's no clean up!
