Honey Mustard Dressing Recipe

Make a batch of sweet, tangy and delicious homemade honey mustard salad dressing in only 5 minutes, with a handful of simple ingredients. It's perfect to drizzle on salads, or use honey mustard as a dipping sauce!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons mustard Dijon, yellow, or half and half
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice or rice vinegar
  • salt and pepper
  • Optional Add-Ins: ¼ tsp garlic powder ¼ tsp onion powder, ¼ tsp cayenne pepper, 1 tsp lime zest

  1. Set out a small bowl or measuring pitcher. Combine the mayonnaise, honey, mustard(s), and lemon juice.
  2. Whisk until very smooth. Taste, then add salt and pepper as needed. At this point you can add in any extra seasoning you like. Or make a honey lime mustard dressing by adding additional lime zest.
  3. Cover and chill until ready to serve.

Notes

  • This dressing can be made up to one week in advance. Store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator, and give it a good stir before using.
