Honey Roasted Carrots Air Fryer

What’s not to love about this honey roasted carrots air fryer recipe? Carrots are roasted in the air fryer without a par boil, the carrots cook fast, then they are loaded with a honey glaze before the final air fry.

Ingredients

  • 6 medium carrots
  • 1 Tbsp Clear honey
  • 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 Tsp heaped Dried Thyme
  • salt & pepper

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Peel the carrots and then chop them diagonally into thick slices.
  2. Place the carrots into a mixing bowl with your oil and seasonings. Mix well with your hands.
  3. Tip the carrots into the air fryer basket and spread them out.
  4. Air fry the carrots for 25 minutes at 180c/360f or until the carrots are fork tender.
  5. When fork tender, transfer the carrots back to the bowl and pour in the honey. Then use a wooden spoon to mix the honey into the carrots.
  6. Tip the honey carrots into the air fryer basket and air fry for a further 5 minutes at the increased temperature of 200c/400f.
  7. Then transfer to a favourite serving dish and serve warm.
