Ingredients
- 2 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 1 pound skinless, raw peanuts
- 1/2 1/2 cup honey
- 1 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ºF.
- Melt the butter in a medium skillet set over medium heat. Add peanuts and stir in honey and salt. Mix until well coated. Stir in the cayenne pepper, if using, until well coated. Place in oven and bake until golden, about 30 minutes.

Notes
- If you prefer, you can also use cashews, almonds, pecans, walnuts, or any other nut in place of the peanuts it this recipe. A mixture of nuts for honey roasted mixed nuts is also delicious!
- Makes 2 1/2 cups.
