Hot Cocoa Mix Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 1 cup sweetener granulated sugar, coconut sugar, xylitol, of your choice
  • 8 ounce semi-sweet chocolate

Instructions

  1. In a food processor or blender, pulse all ingredients until mixed and the semi-sweet chocolate is broken in small pieces. Store in air tight containers.
To serve:
  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, whisk together 1/4 cup 2 1/2 heaping tablespoons of cocoa mix with 3/4 cup of milk of your choice (whole, skim, coconut, almond). Add marshmallows or whipped cream.

Notes

  • Add a pinch of salt to your prepared hot cocoa. The salt intensifies the chocolate flavor. Recipe from Real Simple
