Ingredients
- 8-10 chicken thighs boneless, skinless
- 2 tbsp olive oil divided
- 1½ tbsp Italian seasoning
- ⅓ cup honey
- 3 tbsp Tabasco sauce or hot sauce of choice
Instructions
- Coat the chicken thighs with 1 tablespoon olive oil and Italian seasoning.
- Combine the honey and tabasco hot sauce and set aside.
- On medium heat, heat up your skillet (preferably cast iron, this is the one I use) and add the rest of the olive oil before adding in the chicken thighs, smooth side down and then cook for 5 minutes. Flip and continue to cook for 5 minutes. Do not overcrowd the pan, cook in two batches if necessary. Be sure to add more oil for the second batch.
- Pour the hot honey mixture into the pan and let the honey bubble, spooning the hot honey over the top of the thighs. After 5 minutes, the sauce should have thickened and easily coat the chicken.
- Serve and enjoy.
