Ingredients

  • 1 medium butternut squash
  • 1 Tsp basil
  • 1 Tsp parsley
  • salt & pepper

Instructions

  1. Place one tablespoon of water in the bottom of your steamer basket.
  2. Peel and then dice your butternut squash into cubes. Discard your seeds. Then add to the steamer basket.
  3. Add your seasonings and mix with your hands for an even coating.
  4. Place the lid on the steamer and then place in the microwave.
  5. Microwave for 7 minutes.
  6. Remove the lid, allow the steam to release, and do a fork test to make sure the butternut squash is fork tender. Then transfer to a serving dish.
