Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup orzo pasta

Instructions

  1. Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan over high heat.
  2. Add salt and orzo pasta to the boiling water, stir occasionally.
  3. Cook the orzo for about 10 minutes or until it is al dente. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  4. Drain the orzo in a colander and, if you don't plan on using the orzo immediately, rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process.
