Ingredients

  • 2 pork shoulder steaks 1 inch thick
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • fresh Rosemary chopped
  • pinch of sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Season the pork steaks with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. Marinate with crushed garlic, chopped rosemary, and extra virgin olive oil. Let them sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a large skillet over high heat and add the marinated pork steaks. Sear the steaks for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
  3. Remove the steaks from the pan and transfer to the preheated oven. Bake for 10 minutes until the pork reaches 145°F in the thickest part. Remove from the oven and transfer to plates. Let it rest for 5 minutes and garnish with some vegetables and fresh rosemary sprigs.
