How to Cook Shrimp in the Oven

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Shrimp deveined
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic 
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450 F and shell shrimp.
  2. In a pan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over low heat. Once melted, add 1 teaspoon of minced garlic and a pinch of salt to the butter. Some prefer using Old Bay seasoning.
  3. Place shrimp in a wide baking dish and pour seasoned butter over it.
  4. Bake small shrimp for 6 minutes, medium shrimp for 10 minutes and large shrimp for 15 minutes until meat is opaque.
  5. Turn shrimp midway through cooking, remove from heat and serve.
