How to Freeze Leftover Pizza

A quick and easy, 5 minute, way to freeze leftover pizza so that you have a delicious hot snack or meal later.

Ingredients

  • 1 lice pizza

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Allow the pizza to cool completely.
  2. Wrap the pizza in plastic wrap or aluminum foil.
  3. Place the individually wrapped slices into a freezer safe container or bag.
  4. Freeze for up to 6 months.

Notes

  • PRO TIP: when reheating, add a little more cheese or other toppings to give it more pizazz. 
  • It's important to allow the pizza to cool completely so that the toppings do not stick to your wrap. 
  • If you wrap in plastic, make sure to remove it before reheating. 
  • Place the individually wrapped pieces inside of a freezer safe container like a zip lock freezer bag. Squeeze out as much air as possible.
