Instructions

How to freeze waffles and how to freeze pancakes:
    Cup of Yum
  1. Simply make your pancakes like you normally would (I have a great homemade pancake recipe that is super easy and frugal friendly here).
  2. Just make sure you make extra. (I normally will make a triple or a quadruple batch)
Ways to Freeze Them:
  1. Allow to cool completely. I just let them sit on the counter while we eat our breakfast (or our brinner). See my picture above… I was telling the truth – I make a LOT of pancakes or waffles all at once.
  2. Once they are cool, lay them out on a cookie sheet. Place in the freezer for a few hours.
  3. Allow the pancakes to freeze completely through. Then place them in a freezer bag. I like to use wax paper in between each pancake.
  4. How do you freeze pancakes without them sticking?
  5. The reason, you freeze them like this, is so you can easily just pull out one or 2 pancakes as you need them. This is called flash freezing.
How to reheat pancakes:
  1. To reheat them, just place in the microwave and heat in 20 second intervals until heated through.
  2. You can also use the oven if you prefer.
