How To Grill Salmon on a Cedar Plank

Step up your salmon game by grilling it on a cedar plank. The delicious woody and smoky flavor makes this one of my favorite methods of cooking salmon!

Ingredients

  • 2 lb Salmon fillet skin on
  • 2 tbsp oil avocado or olive
  • 1 tbsp garlic parsley salt
  • 1 lemon sliced

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cedar planks by soaking them in water for at least an hour. Preheat the grill to 350°F.
  2. Place the salmon on the soaked cedar plank. Brush with oil, season with garlic parsley salt, and top it off with lemon slices.
  3. Place the plank with salmon onto the preheated grill. Grill for 8-12 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F. Enjoy!
