- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- 7 tablespoons (3 ½ oz/100 g) cold butter, cubed
- 1 large egg yolk*
- 2- 3 tablespoons cold water
Notes
- The pastry can be frozen for up to 8 weeks
- if you don't eat eggs then leave the egg yolk out and add 2 tablespoons of cold water instead.
