How to make a perfect Spicy Margarita
Heat and refreshment come together in this Spicy Margarita recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 Serrano pepper sliced
- 1.5 ounces lime juice around 2 limes, freshly squeezed
- 2 ounces blanco tequila
- 0.5 ounce triple sec I like Cointreau
- Angostura bitters splash
- chili lime seasoning I like tajin, for rimming
- 3 prigs cilantro optional, fresh; for garnish
- 3 prigs lime optional, fresh; for garnish
Instructions
- Rubbing a lime wedge along the rim of your glass and dip it into a plate filled with spicy seasoning.
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle the sliced serrano pepper.
- Add the lime juice, Blanco tequila, triple sec, and a splash of Angostura bitters to the cocktail shaker. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well to combine.
- Strain into your prepared glass filled with ice.
- Garnish with a lime wedge and a few sprigs of fresh cilantro. Serve immediately!
