How to Make a Pineapple Upside Down Cake Shot Recipe

We've turned everyone's favorite dessert into fun adults-only shots! Easy to make with only 3 ingredients, these delicious shots taste just like an upside down pineapple cake and are perfect for celebrating any festive occasion!

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces vodka vanilla flavored
  • 2 ounces pineapple juice
  • ½ ounce maraschino cherry juice + maraschino cherries for each shot glass

Instructions

  1. Set out two shot glasses and a cocktail shaker. Fill the cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Place one maraschino cherry in the bottom of each shot glass.
  3. Measure and pour the vanilla vodka and pineapple juice into the cocktail shaker. Cover the shaker and shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
  4. Pour the cocktail into the shot glasses, leaving a little room on the top. Then gently spoon a ¼ ounce of maraschino cherry juice over the top of each glass. Pour the juice from the spoon slowly so it settles to the bottom of the glass creating an ombre effect.

Notes

  • Try this recipe with cake or cupcake flavored vodka for an even sweeter taste. You can use white rum make a pineapple upside down cake shot without vodka.
