How To Make Mint Honey Simple Syrup
Delicious Mint Honey Simple Syrup, a much tastier alternative to a white sugar simple syrup! Ahem. It's also perfect in mojitos!!!
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup honey
- 7 leaves mint large, fresh
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Smash the mint with a spoon against the side of the pot to release the oils.
- Bring to a simmer; continue to simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove from the heat.
- Remove the mint leaves (strainer or other) and pour syrup into a glass container.
- Refrigerate and use!
