How To Make Mint Honey Simple Syrup

Delicious Mint Honey Simple Syrup, a much tastier alternative to a white sugar simple syrup! Ahem. It's also perfect in mojitos!!!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup honey
  • 7 leaves mint large, fresh

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Smash the mint with a spoon against the side of the pot to release the oils.
  2. Bring to a simmer; continue to simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from the heat.
  4. Remove the mint leaves (strainer or other) and pour syrup into a glass container.
  5. Refrigerate and use!
