Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup whole milk or plant-based milk
  • Pinch of salt
  • honey or brown sugar as needed
  • Optional toppings: fresh fruit, nuts, cinnamon

  1. In a deep microwave-safe bowl, combine the oats, milk, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Microwave, covered, on high for 2 minutes. If the mixture starts to boil over, pause the microwave, stir, and continue.
