Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage about 8 cups chopped
  • 2 cups vegetable broth 475 mL
  • 4 Tbsp unsalted butter 56 g
  • 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar 30 mL
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp each black pepper, smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp mustard

  1. Prep: Cut cabbage into bite-sized chunks. Add cabbage to your slow cooker along with all remaining ingredients.
  2. Slow cook, covered, on high for 2 to 3 hours, or on low for 4 to 6, stirring at least once during cooking. Cabbage should be tender when finished.
