Ingredients

  • 1 cup hulled white sesame seeds
  • 2 Tbsp neutral oil
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan over medium heat until they’re lightly golden and fragrant, about 3 minutes. Once they’re toasted, let the seeds cool.
  2. Transfer the cooled sesame seeds to a food processor or blender and blend them until they form a crumbly paste.
  3. Add Oil: lowly pour in the oil while continuing to blend. If you find the mixture too thick, add a little more oil until you reach a smooth and pourable consistency. Remember to stop and scrape down the sides a few times.
  4. Taste your tahini and add a pinch of salt to your liking.
