How to reheat slices of quiche in the oven
- Preheat the oven to 325°F. Remove the quiche from the fridge and uncover it.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- Arrange slices on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until they are hot.
- Let slices rest for a couple of minutes. Serve.
How to reheat slices in a toaster oven
- Place slices of quiche directly on the toaster oven rack.
- Toast them at 350°F for five minutes until hot and lightly browned.
- Let them rest a couple of minutes before serving.
Reheating Quiche in the Air Fryer
- Remove the quiche from the refrigerator.
- Brush the crust lightly with milk, melted butter or oil. This will create an extra crispy crust.
- Preheat the air fryer to 300°F.
- Arrange the slices in the basket so they aren’t touching. Air fry for 4-8 minutes until heated through.
- Let them rest for a couple of minutes. Serve.
How to Reheat in the Microwave
- Place a slice of quiche on a microwave-safe plate.
- Cover with a piece of paper towel.
- Microwave on high for 1½ minutes. Check the temperature of the quiche. If it isn’t quite hot enough, microwave it for another 30 seconds.
- Let it rest for one minute before eating.
- Don’t reheat any longer than two minutes, or the texture of the crust will be either very soggy or hard.
How to Reheat Frozen Quiche
- Follow the instructions above for the oven. Adjust the time to 30-40 minutes. There is no need to thaw the quiche. If the edges are getting too brown, cover them with strips of foil or a pie guard.
Notes
- The leftover quiche will last about four days in the refrigerator.
- Leftover quiche should be reheated to 165°F.
- Brush the crust lightly with milk, melted butter or oil. This will create an extra crispy crust.
- Allow the quiche to sit on the counter for at least the time it takes to preheat the oven or air fryer.
- The only instance in which the quiche should be covered is when reheating it in the microwave. Just lay a piece of paper towel loosely on top of the quiche.
- Cover the quiche in the pie plate with plastic wrap and aluminum foil. Refrigerate for 3-4 days.
