    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.
  2. Remove the quiche from the fridge and uncover it.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  4. Place the whole quiche on the baking sheet, uncovered.
  5. Bake for 10-15 minutes for a whole quiche.
  6. Let the quiche rest for about five minutes so the filling can firm up a bit before cutting and serving it.
How to reheat slices of quiche in the oven
  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F. Remove the quiche from the fridge and uncover it.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  3. Arrange slices on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 8-10 minutes until they are hot.
  5. Let slices rest for a couple of minutes. Serve.
How to reheat slices in a toaster oven
  1. Place slices of quiche directly on the toaster oven rack.
  2. Toast them at 350°F for five minutes until hot and lightly browned.
  3. Let them rest a couple of minutes before serving.
Reheating Quiche in the Air Fryer
  1. Remove the quiche from the refrigerator.
  2. Brush the crust lightly with milk, melted butter or oil. This will create an extra crispy crust.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 300°F.
  4. Arrange the slices in the basket so they aren’t touching. Air fry for 4-8 minutes until heated through.
  5. Let them rest for a couple of minutes. Serve.
How to Reheat in the Microwave
  1. Place a slice of quiche on a microwave-safe plate.
  2. Cover with a piece of paper towel.
  3. Microwave on high for 1½ minutes. Check the temperature of the quiche. If it isn’t quite hot enough, microwave it for another 30 seconds.
  4. Let it rest for one minute before eating.
  5. Don’t reheat any longer than two minutes, or the texture of the crust will be either very soggy or hard.
How to Reheat Frozen Quiche
  1. Follow the instructions above for the oven. Adjust the time to 30-40 minutes. There is no need to thaw the quiche. If the edges are getting too brown, cover them with strips of foil or a pie guard.

Notes

  • The leftover quiche will last about four days in the refrigerator.
  • Leftover quiche should be reheated to 165°F.
  • Brush the crust lightly with milk, melted butter or oil. This will create an extra crispy crust.
  • Allow the quiche to sit on the counter for at least the time it takes to preheat the oven or air fryer.
  • The only instance in which the quiche should be covered is when reheating it in the microwave. Just lay a piece of paper towel loosely on top of the quiche.
  • Cover the quiche in the pie plate with plastic wrap and aluminum foil. Refrigerate for 3-4 days.
