- 2 medium sweet potatoes
- salt & pepper
- butter optional

Instructions
- Place one tablespoon of water in the bottom of your steamer basket.
- Fork your sweet potato so that it can breathe as it cooks.
- Load your sweet potatoes into the steamer basket and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Place the lid on the steamer and then place in the microwave.
- Microwave for 7-10 minutes depending on your microwave wattage.
- Remove the lid, allow the steam to release, and do a fork test to make sure the sweet potato is fork tender. Then serve with butter and your favourite toppings.
