Ice Cream Pizza
This Ice Cream Pizza recipe is an easy copycat of the classic Dairy Queen Treatzza Pizza! It has a crisp Oreo cookie base that's topped with creamy vanilla ice cream and garnished with hot fudge and M&Ms.

Ingredients
- 1 cup thick hot fudge divided - I use Mrs. Richardson's
- 3 cups finely crushed pea-size and smaller Oreo cookies, from about 24 regular Oreos
- about ⅔ of a 1.5-quart container of vanilla ice cream softened slightly (Use the whole container to make a thicker ice cream layer!)
- ⅓ to ½ cup chopped m&m candies or just use mini M&Ms!
Instructions
- Prep: Line a 9” springform pan with parchment paper and lightly spray it with nonstick spray. Then wrap the outside of the pan in a layer of heavy-duty foil.
- For the Oreo crust: Add ¾ cup of the hot fudge to a large microwave-safe bowl and heat it for 15 seconds, then give it a stir. You want it just barely warm. Repeat for another 15 seconds if needed.
- Add the crushed Oreo cookies to the warm hot fudge and stir to combine.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan. This will be kinda sticky. See my tip in the Notes below.
- For the ice cream layer: Spread the slightly softened vanilla ice cream over the Oreo crust and smooth it into an even layer. Place the ice cream pizza in the freezer for 2 hours, or until the ice cream is set.
- For the garnish: Heat the remaining ¼ cup hot fudge in a small microwave-safe bowl until just barely pourable. Drizzle the hot fudge over the ice cream and then sprinkle with M&Ms.
- To finish: Transfer the ice cream pizza to the freezer and chill again for 3 more hours, or until the ice cream is completely frozen.
- Run a knife around the perimeter of the pan to loosen the pizza from the pan sides and then unlock the springform pan and remove the sides. Transfer the pizza to a serving platter, then slice immediately, and enjoy!

Notes
- Tip for pressing in the Oreo/fudge crust: The "pizza crust" of crushed Oreos and fudge sauce is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. But it's also kinda sticky as you're pressing it into the pan. I've found that it helps to spray the back side of a large spoon with non-stick cooking spray and use that to press in the Oreo mixture, spraying the spoon as needed. If the spoon starts to get a build-up of the Oreo mixture, just grab a new spoon, spray it, and continue on.
