Ingredients
- 1 bag earl grey tea
- ½ tsp culinary-grade dried lavender
- 2 tbsp syrup vanilla or lavender syrup
- ½-1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup hot water
- ½ cup milk dairy or non-dairy
- ice
Instructions
- In a heat-safe measuring cup or cup, steep the earl grey tea with the lavender buds, syrup, and vanilla extract. Let it steep for 2 to 3 minutes, depending on how strong you’d like the latte to be.
- Chill the tea for 10 minutes to ensure your tea latte stays cold. Meanwhile, use a milk frother to froth your milk if you desire.
- To a glass, add the chilled tea along with ice.
- Top the tea off with milk. Stir to combine. Enjoy immediately.
Cup of Yum
Notes
- If you don’t make a milk frother, you can simply add the milk to a mason jar and shake the jar vigorously until the milk is frothy and doubled in volume.
