Iced Matcha Latte

My fav way to start the day - an oat milk Iced Matcha Latte. You can use any kind of milk you prefer - dairy, almond, soy, hemp etc! I just like oat the best and I like how it froths!

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoon matcha powder
  • 2 tablespoons water hot
  • ½ cup water warm
  • ice crushed
  • 1 cup milk of your choice, prefer oat milk

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. If you want to be super precise, sift the matcha into a large mug or small bowl. Full transparency, I don't do this most days. Pour in 2 tablespoons of hot water and whisk until the matcha has fully incorporated into the water and creates a paste.
  2. Pour in the remaining ½ cup of water and whisk to combine.
  3. Fill a glass with ice and pour in the milk. Pour the matcha over the ice/milk and stir to combine. Enjoy responsibly (aka not at 4pm in the afternoon bc if you're like me, that will keep you awake at night)

Notes

  • I like to serve this before stirring as the layers are so pretty!
