Iced Tea with Mint

Very easy recipe for a refreshing lemon iced tea that's just perfect on a hot day.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups water boiling
  • 3 heaping tbsp sugar
  • 1 black tea bag
  • 3-4 lemon slices
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2-3 mint twigs
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 3 ½ cups water cold

Instructions

  1. Brew tea using 1 ½ cups boiling water and 1 tea bag. Add sugar, stir and let cool a bit.
  2. Slice part of the lemon and juice the rest. Massage the mint a bit until it gives off some juices.
  3. Pour the tea into a glass pitcher, add lemon slices, lemon juice, mint twigs, ice cubes and cold water.
  4. Stir well. Add to glasses and serve.
